Wake me up when September ENDS

I know this is so corny but I think I am starting to freak out about the fact that September 2011 will be existing in a matter of hours. okay. let's make it days. three nights four days. BANG. Welcome September ONE.

The fact that September 8 will be still in more than a week also bothers me. I hate it. Someone must be waking me up when September will already end. And YES. This song is breathing in my mind right now.

I know I have been thinking of ______since forever and that September 2011 is the moment I've been yearning for ever since his elder brother told me year before last that they will be in Philippines at this date. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO??? My engineering friends will totally laugh at the sight of me fidgeting because I've never fidgeted for a GUY before. I am known for being tough, careless and for the ignore-pain attitude. HECK. If ever this guy will appear to me in September...

AHHHHHHHHHHHH I think I will ........ I don't know. Just wake me up when September ends.

The Unemployed.

I have been officially unemployed for 24 days.

That is right. That is a sad and terrible truth. I am ___ years old AND I STILL AM NOT EARNING. (please don't make me mention my age) I mean okay... I tried some of the online ways on how to earn but I think I have to deal with the required patience for the cash to shoot up.

Where am I?

Oh okay.

I AM UNEMPLOYED.

I have been home for these past 24 days, a good home girl that I am. I can't believe I even went back to my hobby WHICH IS BAKING. Can you believe that I am baking? Of course not. when people look at me, there could be no single trace that I know how to freakin' bake. 

But I KNOW HOW. My mother taught me when I was a teenager and all we did was bake and get fat.

That's another thing. I AM GETTING FAT THIS SUMMER. I am a total bummer and I EAT A LOT. My goodness I have to refrain from eating!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But chocolate is so yummy huhuhu

AND ADDICTIVE.

I also miss going out of the house just to go anywhere my feet brings me. I like going out alone, I don't know I seem to be comfortable with it. Probably because I have been used to it when I stepped college and I began to be on my own.

BUT I HAVE NO MONEY SO I CAN'T JUST GO ANYWHERE. Oh pain. Oh sorrow. hmppphh. So here I am. Blogging. This thing? makes me feel a lot better. =)

Dear Tia.

This blog post is dedicated to Tia San Jose, my friend who I haven't met for more than a year because we're oceans apart.

Anyway the reason why I dedicate this to her is because I just thought of her now randomly and I wanna write so okay. I will write the crazy things we did when she was still here. Probably not anyone would totally be interested about my life when she was here but I don't care. I just miss jumping down the last stair with her and we would laugh about it even though it is not that funny for anyone who would find us jumping down the last stair in our college building (and the science building).

So you may ask why Tia among the zillions of people whom I can write about. I can even write about dumping Jim Sturgess for Nicholas D'Agosto, or some of my close friends... Maybe my close friends are still here within my reach and Tia's not.

We took this picture of the guy who is operating the photocopying machine near our university about two years ago. When we first saw him, we looked at each other and tried hiding our laughs but we just simply can't. HAHAHAHAHA We named him mutant in honor of his oily biceps. And also, in honor of that photoshopped picture posted behind him that says: NO ONE CAN STOP THE MUTANTS.

I just miss the moments when she would just bring out her camera phone and take a picture of anyone we find interesting, amusing or funny.

Later on, we would not ask anyone to photocopy our books if he is not the operator. We just love mutant. We are his biggest fans.

We also like to disturb this classmate of ours when we have our product management subject. She said she missed "Macmac" when she was a few months old in the States. I would tell MC about this but he seemed not to believe me. We would sometimes talk about useless things - the three of us and we would laugh about it. MC even said that he doesn't want our company because he doesn't want to end up studying people's behavior like us. HAHAHA We are not psychologists. We hate science and math. Observing people are our little hobby. Even just the tinniest characteristic that we find significant - Tia and I talk about it.

YES. Talk about it. That is how serious we are.
(HAHAHAHA)




We even thought of finding a bedspace together, and together with our other friends in the circle. But we decided not to because we might not sleep for the night due to eating, talking, and surfing the net and laugh about anything we find funny. We are so evil.

I also remembered how we sit on our university's grandstand and shout "HOOOOOOOOOY!!" on every athlete that passes by when they are jogging.
And I remembered how we cut classes and go to the nearest internet cafe just to exchange comments in Facebook. HAHAHAHA (I MISS THIS)

Memories are totally countless. I just miss all of us being together. Well, she's the only one who's away.

SEO Seminar Rationale

We had our last shot to facilitate our required seminar for this semester last February 26, 2011. Though some things didn’t turn out so good because of the major financial problem, nevertheless we gave our best shot to accommodate our speaker who’s fresh from Bohol (Thanks to our marketing topics professor) and to everyone who came.

I was assigned to give the rationale for the seminar so I think I have to post it here before my files get crashed and I have to format things. I hate reformatting the pc or any hard drive that contains files that are necessary.

R A T I O N A L E

What do we call this new genesis that’s eating our world today? This is called the Facebook generation. Ask anyone irregardless of age and they have a Facebook account, thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the said social networking company and currently the world’s youngest billionaire.

At present, there are 500 million active users in Facebook and close to a billion photos are uploaded every month and 60% of users stalk their EXes. What a fun fact.

Accordingly most of us would spend time in front of the PC stalking anyone we’d stumble on the news feed, doing nothing, and probably forgetting our homeworks due to Facebook exploration.

NOT SO NICE.

So today, since you are here, we are going to find out what can we just do with the internet aside from killing time with Facebook and wasting our time surfing the net for nothing.

This seminar would hopefully gear us up with the technology on the rise in the business world. We should be creative. Competitive. Innovative. Considering all these accelerated technologies in almost every aspect of business from operations to customer service, the internet is ultimately crucial. We should not allow the internet to use us. We, ourselves must know how to use the internet wisely.

WISE in a sense that we should not just leave Mark Zuckerberg earning billions of dollars because of us; we should also know how to make money online and transact businesses virtually. There are a series of benefits that the internet has only that we don’t know how to use such.

This search engine optimization is just one category that could open our minds about earning electronically. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE.  Do not worry if you are not so skillful when it comes to computers or the internet.

I salute you for that. Because today, this talk will teach you some skill you never learned inside a four-walled class room.
